Jermand,

I have been training my loaches. I know that they are relatively smart for a fish. They made the connection that Nick=food. So they would all sit in the corner of the tank and watch me when they got hungry, and I would feed them. Perhaps they were training me?? Anyways, I then started using a black piece of electrical tape. Whenever they were hungry they had to go up to the tape and touch the glass where tape was, other their side of course. So now I will hide the tape somewhere on the glass. They find it. Then when they see my coming and they are hungry they will all swarm around it. It is really funny to watch. Sometimes I will try to trick them with different pieces of tape. I think I will try to use different colors and see what happens. THeir tankmates aren't smart enough to play this game. They have only mae the connection that opening the hood's lid = food. Sigh.
