I set up my tank with my eels and loaches in mind. I have an ornament that looks like driftwood and is hollow. It has almost a maze inside and several openings. That peice stretces a little more than half-way across my tank, and is my loaches absolute favorite. Next to that ( about seven inches over ) is a stoney cave and a group of plants are behind that. My loaches merrily hop between all their hidey-holes. I also made sure that they have good aeration( a powerful motor filter and a 24" bubblewand powered by a AP150 air pump) which I think is also important to my loaches happiness.
