Help: Blue Botia (botia modesta)

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this loach. I have a 40-gallon "community tank" with hiding places.

Something has been chewing up the fins, and at times, the bodies of my neon tetras. I went to a LFS, brought in some of my tetras, and it was determined that perhaps a loach was doing it. Another thought that perhaps it was the porthole or upside down catfish.

I removed all of them except the blue botia and a yo-yo loach. Still no luck.

Will the blue botia harass the neons?
