I had a trio. One died at year 10 when my filter crashed. Two died at year 12 when I introduced another Clown. I believe the new addition spread a disease to the others (worms?). They all three eventually hollowed out and stopped eating.

Capital Aquarium, in Sacramento, CA, has two Clowns that are reportedly 40+ years old and three (?) that are 30+ years old. One of the older ones is 16". I lived in Sacramento when the older pair were about 30 or so. I got to see them every time I visited the store. They are kept in a 1,000 gal tank with other large fish. It
