Matt, according to Doc Momfish, fish in rare cases do suffer heart attacks. It is strange that he was fine one moment, then went beserk like the next. Brett told us some time ago of his gourami which he had for years, and then in the next second it was jumping up against the glass cover and knocked itself out(that was your Fishface, right). Either it got a total scare, or it was having some kind of attack. Either your clown had a total scare or if was a freak occurence that was out of your control.

Regardless of the reason, it hurts to lose a favorite fish. So sorry.
