Black Spot Disease

ahem... okay, I apologize profusely. I searched the archives for "black spots" and came up with lots of previous posts. None conclusive of course.

A couple said its part of a paracite life cycle and snails are a carrier. Another said he noticed a comeback from feeding frozen bloodworm (which I do).

They also mentioned that it was rarely fatal and would go away on its own. So now I am once again undecided about treating or not. I also gathered that it appeared on loaches that had been in the tanks around a year (which is my case).

I'm leary of treating for something that I'm not quite sure what it is. Any opinions on if I should treat or not? The spots do seem to be spreading albeit slowly but Loach behavior remains the same. No clamped fins, eating fine and still uprooting my plants.
