I have just aquired two Chinese Butterfly loaches also known as Hillstream loaches (Beaufortia kweichowensis) According to the index on this site. I notice that mine are dark body color with light spots rather then the color in the photos. They are about 3 and 5 CM in size. Will they grow bigger, what do they eat (offering flake food and live brine). I have not seen them eat in a week, although they go beserk at feeding time they move so fast that it is hard to tell if they are eating on the run or not. What about oxygen requirments as they are from fast moving and probably high oxygen content streams. They share a 30 gal tank with a bristlenose plecko, 2 thinline loaches, 2 corys, and 2 clown loaches and 2 Siamise Alge eaters and a Checkerboard Cichlid (from S. America, very mellow)and about 30 lbs of smooth roc
