Catching your loach

Here's something you might want to try, if you haven't caught your black-spotted loach yet: Put a PVC tube in the water, wait for the loach to enter, then net the tube. Easier on the fish, you, and your tank decorations. I don't think this works for some species, but it works for clowns and modestas. In fact, I understand that's how they catch them in the wild - with bamboo tubes.
