I have a 7" Royal Clown Loach. I still haven't learned much about them but mine seems to be a loner. He lays up against the glass on one end of my 125 gallon tank. He eats frozen foods right out of the turkey baster. Mine is not very active but swings his head around when he smells food dropped in the water. Most have said they only eat live food (or like) but mine eats everything from carnivore pellets, algae wafers, shrimp pellets to all kinds of frozen foods. He hasn't turned down anything at all but he was very thin and I think he is just really hungry. I've seen no aggression but also no socialization. Hope this helps a little because
