Congratulations on your new loaches!! Loaches and other scaleless fish are suceptible to ich especially when under stress, which can be right after they,ve been introduced to a new tank. As long as the other fish can tolerate it, if they do get ich, you can gradually crank the heat up to 82 degrees and keep the lights out. Ich will not flourish in a dark environment. You can follow other advice on meds. There're usually posts on them. Also- I feed my loaches frozen food ( variety pack by Sally's San Francisco Bay brand) The pack has brine shrimp, clam, krill, turkey heart, bloodworms, Romaine & red lettuce, spinach, spirulina, fish meal, and stabilized vitamins. They also get sinking catfish tabs, algae wafers, and fresh zuccini. Good luck with your new friends and have fun!
