They will come out of hiding both after they settle in a bit and once you make sure they have enough hiding places scattered throughout the tank. If their only hiding place(s) are in one area of the tank they will never stray far from that area. If you provide hiding places throughout the tank they will feel more secure as they will know they are never too far from a quick dash out of danger.
