It's a good idea, but from my measurements there's not enough room for the whole bio-wheel pro setup in the slot in the back of the tank (sigh). If I had the foresight, I would have had the filter slot routed out somewhat larger, but there it is. Its a 50gal. plexi, and those plexis don't have enough room cut in the back (at least, those at my LFS) for any kind of real complex hang-on-the-back setup. Now, I've seen some interesting systems with a biowheel in an external fixture that sits UNDER the tank, typically used for larger systems, but that might be worth looking into.

If I could work that out, I can always give the loaches their exercise area by sticking a big powerhead in one corner!
