My eight clowns grew very quickly from 2-3in. little fellows to the currently 5in.+ "Boss Loach" and friends (it was only a few months). Since then, this growth spurt seems to have subsided (well, my skunk loaches which started at a little over an inch each are now closer to two!).

I suspect that the loaches try to grow to a "best minimum" (makes sense in the wild, larger fish tend to be the eaters more than the eaten) and then slow down. From apperances, my clowns "grew into" the tank and then hit the brakes once they got to an appropriate size. I feed twice daily, t
