not loachy but new fish has bloated belly...

Ive finaly got my pictus cat fish (I got 2) Ive looked everywhere for info about them and found nothing about breeding habits or how to sex them so when the pet shop man said he had been breeding them for 2 years I was surprised. More surprised when he told me the exact tempratures to keep them and how to look after the spawn and fry. He seemed helpful and knowledgeable. He then chassed this one fish around the tank (the most bloated one in there) and put it in my bag. When I looked at the tanks temp it was 27 (the temp he said they needed to breed. After the drive home I looked in the bag and it was full of dead things like b
