I have a 200l community tank that although is stocked
slightly on the high side it has an Ehiem wet/dry,
Eheim cannister and Eheim internal filters.
The tank has been set up for nearly 2 years and 10/15%
water changes (with conditioner and bacteria treatment)
are undertaken every 8/10 days. Water quality is well
within normal limits. I live in the tropics so no water
heater is necessary. No new fish have been introduced
within the last 3 months.
I have 5, 3 to 5 cm clown loaches in the tank. Over the last
week 2 of them have developed an opaque/white slime
- or what could be described as sloughed skin
on their sides. I have seen 'Velet' on clowns before
