If its not "Velvet" - any suggestions?

I have a 200l community tank that although is stocked

slightly on the high side it has an Ehiem wet/dry,

Eheim cannister and Eheim internal filters.

The tank has been set up for nearly 2 years and 10/15%

water changes (with conditioner and bacteria treatment)

are undertaken every 8/10 days. Water quality is well

within normal limits. I live in the tropics so no water

heater is necessary. No new fish have been introduced

within the last 3 months.

I have 5, 3 to 5 cm clown loaches in the tank. Over the last

week 2 of them have developed an opaque/white slime

- or what could be described as sloughed skin

on their sides. I have seen 'Velet' on clowns before
