I was wondering how loach-keeping differed in different areas. I live by the Great Lakes, and our city water has a high pH and is fairly hard. To keep fish like clown loaches and neon tetras, alot of people filter their tanks with granulated peat and keep a close eye on the acidity in their tank. These kinds of fish are considered to be fairly hard to keep here. Is it easier in most places, or is it pretty difficult everywhre? I was just wondering.
