LYIN' EYES........or Lyin' Clowns? ................................................................................

Clown Loach's, they seem too find out early,

How to get their way with just their while,

Some rich old food, and she won't have to worry,

She'll dress up all in stripes, and go in style.

.....................................................

Late at night, a big old tank gets lonely,

I guess every rock of refuge has it's price,

And it gives her Ick to think he'd be so ornry,

To let her tank become as cold as ice.

.......................................................

So she tells him she must go out for a long swim,

To visit an old friend who's lying down,

But he knows where she's goin' as she's leavin'

She's headed for the clickin' side of town.

.........................................................

You can't hide your beady eyes,

And your barbels are a thin disguise,

Thought by now you'd got it down,

There ain't no way to hide your lyin' Clown.

...........................................................

On the other side of the tank, a fish is waitin'

With an Ick treatment no-one could steal,

She swims on through the night anticipatin'

Cause it makes her feel the way she used to feel.

..............................................................

She rushes to his fins, they fall together,

She clicks to him, it's only for a while,

She swears that soon she'll be swimming back forever,

She flicks away, and leaves him with a smile.

.................................................................

You can't hide your beady eyes,

And your barbels are a thin disguise,

Thought by now you'd got it down,

There a'int no way to hide your lyin' Clown.

......................................................................

She thought the dosage seemed to be a strong one,

And stares out at her owner, see him cry,

Another Ick, it's gonna be a long one,

He draws the shades to stop the Ick, well try.

.......................................................................

She wonders how Clowns ever got this crazy,

She thinks about a fish, another school,

Was she over-fed, or did she just get lazy,

She's so far gone, she feels just like a fool.

.........................................................................

My oh my, you sure know how to arrange tanks,

You did it so well, so carefully,

Ain't it funny how that heater didn't get thanks,

You're still the same old Clown you used to be.

..............................................................................

You can't hide your beady eyes,

And your barbels are a thin disguise.

Thought by now you'd got it down,

With Clowns you never turn the heater down,

No with Clowns you never turn the heater down,

Honey,.............. don't turn that heater down.

................................................................................

I keep mine at 86.5 (ish)....they are "Boys of Summer"

(I saw a Dead-Clown sticker on a Cadillac,

A voice in my head said,

Don't turn back, don't turn that heater down back)

:)Martin.
