He died (my new black kuhli)!

Yesterday I got 2 Black Kuhlis, the really skinny one died today. I was so excited to find black kuhlis, but the LFS has a gareentee so Im gonna take him back tomorrow. Ron said to watch him for internal parisites, is that what got him? Im gonna try again tomorrow, should I get a bigger one? Are all kuhlis wild caught? He was in a Quarentine tank, where the others will stay for a while :) If he had internal parisites could he give them to the guppies and their babies that are also in the tank? ( I bought pregnat guppies and that night they had babies, How cool!) Thanks for the help!
