You just got them and they're already coming out some? That's pretty good. I think, on the average, they take approx. 2 weeks to get really used to a new home. One suggestion is to always approach the tank slowly so they get a chance to fully understand that it's you. Quick motions will send them scurrying for cover - "Hide first and ask questions later" is a survival instinct. It's not personal :-)
