Not sure how good scalare would be with 'kuhli'. Never kept angelfish with any loach species. Never kept angelfish other then for the experience of breeding them actualy. But... from what I infer there is a tendency to become a bit agressive as they are mature. Take for example some posts that have angels chasing botia morleti. Not catching but chasing. Add to this that you are conditioning yours to accept live foods by way of picking off the livebearers and it might not be
