Another Black Kuhli dies

I need some help again! I went to the LFS and took back the dead loach, came home with a nice, fat one, he was really cute! He did not even make it through the night! The one that is sitll alive, was black and is now a pale tan. What an I doing wrong? is it the water? Also there are 2 f/ guppies in there, they are not doing well at all, but they had babies, which are all doing fine! Should I just take the poor little guy back, and get my money back and try again later, or try one more time? any suggestions? Also, I dont want to keep the babies in that water if it is bad, If I move them and they are sick, will, they make the fish in the community tank sick? (Im gonna put them in a breeding trap in my communtity tank)Will they survive the move? Thanks so much! Dee
