Well,I think I just died and went to loach loonie heaven. I have been a self confessed L.L. for nearly 2 years now and it has been a fairly lonely obsession. After connecting to the net for the first time this week my first search was for loaches(of course) and L.O.L. came up. I have been glued to it ever since. At last I now know that when they come to take me away I will be in good company! My main tank is a 6x2x2 (over)stocked with - 11 clowns (10" to2"),4 Pakistanis (4 1/2" to 3"), 2 skunks, 2 striatas, 2 kuhlis, and 1 eos. They all get on very well with each other and the non loach inhabitants, and by keeping on top of the water quality they are all fat and healthy. I am always on the lookout for different varieties to add but they are hard to come by in my neck of the woods. Can anybody tell me if modestas would fit in with my mix? (if I was ever to get that lucky). Anyway, I cant believe how good L.O.L. is. Keep up the good work. Bob D. Perth Western Australia.
