If they are new to the tank it may take a day or two for them to get adjusted and come out. Also make sure you have a few hiding places spread throughout the tank. Believe it or not the more hiding places they have the more they are likely to come out. They feel more secure having these hiding places nearby. If you can provide at least three or four they should be OK. Ideas for hiding places are rocks, PVC pipes, clay flower pots and so forth. Of course, be sure to clean any of these before placing them in the tank. Before you know it you will have happy little Clown's with pot bellies swimming around and begging for more.
