That's the best solution there is Brian. As long as you'll never want to move anything around :-) I went the way BB did and simply don't use them at all anymore if I can help it. Everything in my tanks is held in place by rock and wood work and the power cables are tied outside the tank to stop any lateral movement.

Suction cups suck :-)
