Night owls er uh, Loaches

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I have a few particular clowns that are morning loaches. They are up when I get up and want some food then. But come later in the day, they are no where to be seen. However, I have some other loaches that are more of night owls, and they are out more often in the evenings.

Has anyone seen similar things out of their loaches?? I know that some are more of nocturnal, but, I wonder if some have day/night preferences.
