Then your houseplants are probably too dry! Try misting them, or sitting them on trays of moist pebbles so the evaporation helps the leaves - make sure the water level in the pebble tray is not so high it gets into the plant pot, or the roots will be too wet. You obviously know how to take care of plants, so that's the only explanation I can think of! Gad, this is off-topic...Loach! I said loach!
