Happy loachy story

About 5 months ago we lost a kuhli. The water chemistry in the tank was fine and we never saw any, um, evidence of its demise. But it was little -- not much more than an inch long. The hog fish, otherwise known as an angel fish, was our chief suspect. After several water changes when most of the rocks got moved around several times, we were convinced it was gone. A few nites ago, my husband and I started counting noses and realized we had 6 of the loaches when we normally have 5. I have no idea where that little devil was hiding all this time since all our filters are external and the clowns regularly stir up every imaginable place in the tank. The lost kuli is now almost full grown and doing well.
