How I almost lost all my loaches yesterday...

Last night I did water changes. Nothing abnormal..25% in each tank. I just got done with these, and I found out my dad had put chlorine into out well water(he has a reason for it, but I don't know what it is). Well anyways, our water was so full of chlorine it faintly smelled like a swimming pool! Well, I added de-chlorinator (stress coat). My loaches started breathing VERY rappidly..even more rappidly than when there is a feeding frenzy. I did my best to put as much air in my tank as was possible. I had my fluval's spray bar about an inch above the water line, and I also had an air pump going.
