Kuhli moving time?

I have two kuhli loaches in a community tank. The tank has two angels and a gourami, a red tailed shark, two corys and neon tetra. I never see the kuhli's. They hide in their under rock cave. They never swim in the open. Maybe they come out at night but I've yet to surprise them. They are, however, quite large now. Maybe someone picks on them when they are out and about. I just had the thought of moving them to my loach tank(30 gal). That tank has three clowns(small), three yoyos(just as small) and three dwarf rainbows(also small). Opinions please. Is it worth the trouble of trying to catch them? Might they be happier in loachville?
