Get them some more piscine buddies - without the comfort of "dither fish" to indicate that the coast is clear (no predators), your clowns may continually think there's a predator about. Check the LOL archives for suitable dither fish, my personal faves are cardinal tetras and harlequin rasboras, but other people would be able to suggest equally suitable alternatives. An extra clown loach (assuming tank space permits) would also help get them out and about a bit more - clowns are gregarious fish, and so should be kept in groups.

Your clowns would thank you for turning the heater thermostat up to around 79 - 82 deg F (assuming they were kept i
