Serves you right for being so nice and helpful all the time :-) j/k.

I've had a few of those emails as well. I don't mind at all if people mail me to ask about loaches or anything else that I've mentioned in conversation on here. I particularly *enjoy* receiving mail from people I "know" because I've indicated my intentions to communicate by joining in their threads of conversation. I think everyone I know who mails me out of the blue gets a reply, and I'm always polite as well! :-)

What I do hate is when people email me anonymously and ask questions about misc. fish-keeping practices. Someone mailed me a couple of times asking about cycling a saltwater tank and despite stating quite clearly that I knew nothing about it I still received the mails. This person didn't even sign off with a name and that really got my goat.

That mail you received was a windup if you ask me, old age fish at 1 to 1 and a half months? Give me a break. Might make an interesting conversation piece for this week's Thoene/Burton/Guest threads though! :-)

Dave
