Is Acriflavine OK to use on loaches?

Hi, folks, I need a little help. My large boss modesta got a long thin scratch on the rear of her body (near the tail) yesterday morning, apparently from one of her scuffles with a contender for the best spot in the tank.

Unfortunately, it's on the side she likes to sleep on, which no doubt reduced water circulation over the scratch. By this morning, it has become a large, unlovely fungused area. She's gotten a clue and is now lying on the other side, but this looks kind of nasty.

I am going to do yet another water change right after I post this (nitrAtes are up a little) which always helps in the rare cases where I've seen something like this on other fish, and I'l
