It takes a *really* long time to do some of the searches. I am an internet veteran, not a newbie, so being a newbie has nothing to do with it. The sheer number of posts on any topic has to do with it, especially for people unfortunate enough to have slow machines or slow internet connections.

That doesn't mean people shouldn't make time to sit back and do some research. It's good for you :-) Some evenings I just select a topic and start reading. Educational, and fun. I recommend it.

However, sometimes people have a more urgent need for information - and I was thinking of a place that had summary information that people ask for over and over, especially when they need to know now, not tomorrow after 8 hours of reading every post on ich. :-) It would deliberately *not* be a huge compendium, but a place to look up urgent things like fighting, ich, stress factors, plant destruction, etc. "First Aid Station" might be a better description of what I had in mind.
