Generally this forum is a lot more friendly and fun than some others I will not mention. If you think this is a clique, you haven't had much exposure to various mailing lists etc. I've quit participating on one because there are some super self-absorbed 'I'm always right' people around. That kind of attitude kills participation, and research. I continue to do my research on my own. I have presented results and they were accepted and appreciated. But there are still those people who get up my nose. So I've opted out.

By comparison, LOL is a lot of fun, informative and there is all sorts of participation from many different people with various experiences.

Of course, there are total dingbats in the general population and they do surface here and everywhere. You just have to learn to ignore them. Serious inquiries are always well fielded on LOL.
