My husband and I do tend to error on the side of "over-cleanning" but it is not an infrequent thing. On the 26G, weekly water changes between 10-25% are the norm. However, we don't usually tear up all the plants and rocks and scrub them too, so mabey that had enough effect. Normally we vacuum about 2X a month but without disturbing too much of the tank if we can help it. I'm hoping, though that this was the problem and we're comming out of the woods....I will ensure we are much more careful next time! Lesson learned.....?
