I know the little fellows didn't mean it. They were just hungry. But their vacuuming action, over a very small surface area, packs quite a punch.

My discus, on the other hand (was that a pun?) deliberately nip the back of my hand to make me let go of the food. It doesn't hurt as bad, though, and now that I'm used to that ploy, it doesn't work any more, either.

Now, an oscar has a Big Mouth and I understand your concern!
