I agree, Dave. I've examined those things and decided that they look unreliable. Besides, all I ever had to do was leave a container of fish food out overnight *once* to understand how quickly flake and pellet food can absorb moisture and go bad. Do these feeder manufacturers really expect food in close proximity to an evaporating fish tank to last 2 weeks or a month? Yuck.

Those silly conditioning pyramids that release food are probably more reliable. :-P

Better to let the little fishies fast for a while.
