Hey Martin, you must not have been around when I tried to be gone for only 2 days and 6 rummy nose tetras got eaten. These weren't loaches, though - I suspect non-HUGE clowns are better behaved than cichlids and Head-and-Tail-Lights.

I believe your own experience - of course! But mine counts, too. Small fish can be eaten, if the larger fish have the tendency. Obviously, your clowns don't like to eat other fish. But modestas do, and some cichlids do - I think if you leave angelfish unfed for a week in a tank with some guppies, you may see a guppy reduction.

So, I'm not concerned about any fish starving. A fast is good for them. I'm concerned about angelfish eating guppies.
