Botia with eggs

One of my Botia Eos is bulging with eggs (I reckon) and has been for about 2 months now. I am starting to worry that it might become egg bound and keel over on me. How long would they normally carry the eggs before dropping them ? Are Botia susceptible to getting egg bound and , if so is there anything I should do or treat it with ? I would hate to lose the stroppy little beggar as it is a real character - and as rare as hen's teeth where I come from. Help!!!
