Ok set up my tank about a year and a bit ago, for about 3-4 months the water is like pea soup, Ive tried mass water changes, chemicals, plants and floss... nothings helped :( Ive checked my water and heres the perameters...

0.1 Ammonia 6.6 PH 0 Nitrite 30 Nitrate (good for sentitive freshwater fish)

my tap water is

0.1 Ammonia 8.5 PH 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate

I know the waters slightly acidic but I just dont get the green water source??? Ive got mixed tropical and cold water fish in same tank and a heater... Am thinking about getting rid of some fish... really dont want to but dont know what else to do can someone offer me some insight? Jermand -x-
