My tap is like 6.4 and my tank is 7.0 but I guess it's just the buffering that comes along with CO2 usage. I had greenwater too and when I got my HOT Magnum, I popped in the micron cartridge and it cleared it up in like a day! I have heard of micron rated filter bags and sleeves that can be used for like anything and can probably be fitted for you filter. I bet that would work. I know that hornwort will pull it out too so mabe try some of that??
