I don't know how long kuhlis live, but 10 years sounds about right, judging from what I've heard. It may be longer - I'm sure there are people here who can post stories... :-)

Kuhlis do well with other kuhlis, but WARNING!!!! - lately a lot of people who have successfully kept kuhlis have added new kuhlis and then had both new and old kuhlis die mysteriously. If you decide to add new kuhlis, please please QUARANTINE the new guys. Watch them in the store for at least 30 minutes to make sure they look and act normal before you buy them, and buy them from a reputable place (not one of the &
