Thank you - I did start treating today. Yes the Rid Ich does have malachite green in it with the formalin. Thank you for the time period recommendation. I would have stopped when the spots were gone. This is a real newbie question: Do you want the gravel to be prefectly clean, top, bottom, everywhere? I though that there were benefical bacteria in the gravel, so I was trying to be careful to NOT get everything so as to not remove the bacteria. As I said, I don't know a lot about this, but I'm learning!
