aggressive clown loaches--help

I received 2 clown loaches in April, and am guessing they are about 3in. long. I have them in a 34 gal. tank with 9 danios, 4 white clouds, 2 older black tetra's, and a large placaustomous. My loaches seem to spend a lot of time attacking and poking my other fish! Does anyone out there know why these fish show so much aggresssion? I would like to keep them as they are fun to watch, but I don't want them to kill my other fish.
