A few days ago I visited my LFS and they had these beautiful rosa Morleti loaches. The seller thought they were peaceful if in a school and would leave my plants alone. I still have some space in my 120 gallon, so I rushed home to do my homework: and see: the Morleti (supposed to be greenish according to the species info on this site) is known to tore fins of barbs and other fish, besides it eats plant matter and likes in its youth to be in a school but rather on its own later on.

These rosa Morletis look so cute... Now I cannot buy them with a good conscience thanks to you... (Time to start thinking about a new tank....said she smilingly already longing for another tank. The 7 Sids in my 15 gallon will want something bigger when they have grown... Definately... Sie
