Stripy mystery hillstream's and HELP ph levels

I'm setting up a seperate tank for my hillstreams (as per martin's article.) Can anyone tell me what kind of PH they like?

Also recently aquired a new hilstream (?) which has stripes as apposed to my others, which are spotty, it also has a slightly more rounded head, longer body and slightly more prodtuding eyess....can anyone identify???
