Habitat?

Martin asked me to keep you guys informed about my attempt at breeding Misgurnus Anguillicaudatus, and I was wondering if any of you have any ideas on imitating the coming of Summer, other than changing the temperature, mimicing rain with a plant mister, and lowering the depth of the water. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanx,
