if you can afford it buy a chiller to keep the water cool. If not move the tank to a cooler part of your house away from direct sunlight. Well ventilations and a air pump should help dissapate the heat in the tank. Its very hard to keep the temp at the right spot in a 10g tank, such a small amount of water tends to rise and fall throughout the day.
