Botias and other bottom dwellers?

Hello all. A few days ago I was looking for advice on smaller botias that would coexist with my Amano shrimp. Several of you suggested Botia striatas. I just have a few more questions: how do these botias do with plants (I've read that clowns can be a bit destructive, but I don't know about other species) and how will they do with other fish that hang around the bottom (like Siamese Algae Eaters, which can sometimes be a little temperamental themselves as they get older.) Let me give you my tank parameters: 30 gallons, planted, 9 or 10 Amano shrimp, 3 1.5 inch congo tetras, around 4 otocinclus (It's hard to see those little guys as the tank grows in!). I'm hoping to get the SAEs to deal with some hair algae. I realize this may be a more academic question
