Window boxes don't hang properly from my type of window - I do have a nice balcony, but in this climate, they need to be replaced every 3-4 years, and I think mine is due soon - having had a rotten balcony at a previous residence injure Ed once in the past, I'm not about to interfere! It would be really inconvenient to put a potted garden out there and then have to move it - but maybe something small, with only a few veggies :-)
